Excursion to the Mikhailovsky (Engineering) Castle. At the age of sixteen, Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky came to St. Petersburg and began studying at the Nikolaev Engineering School. You will walk through the halls of the imperial castle of Paul I, he was acquainted with Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky. Walking tour "Through the pages of Dostoevsky's novels". The novels of the great Russian writer of the 19th century Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky are read all over the world. We will walk with you in the footsteps of the heroes of the novel "Crime and Punishment". The novel was first published in 1866, and after more than 150 years, it is still popular. You will see the places where Dostoevsky's literary heroes lived and the main events of the novel "Crime and Punishment" happened: The house of the old woman-the interest-taker, the Yusupovsky Garden, the Sennaya Square, the aura of the past is still preserved here. You will find out where the Crystal Palace tavern, Bakaleev's house and Rodion Raskolnikov's house, Kokushkin Bridge and the building of the former Kazan police station were located. We will walk along Voznesensky Prospekt, where the writer's early stories were written. We will walk along Sadovaya Street, where Dostoevsky was in prison. On Gorokhovaya Street 41 we will see a prototype of the "Rogozhins' house "from the immortal novel "The Idiot". Along the way, you will see the same non-fancy, hidden Petersburg...
