St. Petersburg is the city of Dostoevsky's youth, his birth as a writer, his successes, tragic experiences and losses. The city is present in many of his works. Sometimes as a background, more often as the main character. St. Petersburg is the best illustration for the novels of a world-famous writer. If we combine the statements of Dostoevsky and his heroes about St. Petersburg, we can imagine Fyodor Mikhailovich's monologue about our city: "I have always been a dreamer and a mystic. I confess to you, Petersburg, I don't know why, has always seemed to me like some kind of secret. I walked along the streets, looked closely at other, completely unfamiliar passers-by and guessed who they were, how they lived, what they were doing and what they were particularly interested in at that moment… And many of the faces seemed strange to me… This is a city of half-crazy people... And it really is! This fantastic city is full of existing and fictional stories. It somehow suddenly, instantly appeared. But it can also disappear just as suddenly, right? It will vanish to steam to blue skies... And while our city exists and has not disappeared anywhere, we offer you to take a fascinating walk through Dostoevsky's St. Petersburg, full of secrets and riddles.

Day 1
WELCOME TO DOSTOEVSKY'S ST. PETERSBURGTransfer to the hotel, check-in, free time, dinner at the hotel.
Day 2
IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF DOSTOEVSKYDeparture for the sightseeing tour "In the footsteps of Dostoevsky". Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky lived for 30 years in St. Petersburg the capital of the Russian Empire. On the tour, you will learn about Dostoevsky's life in the capital, the period of his studies at the Engineering Castle, his attachment to the theater and friendship with actors. The writer collaborated with the owners of bookstores, with whom he was connected by close friendly relations. You will learn about the close acquaintance of F. M.Dostoevsky with the imperial family and you will see the monument to Dostoevsky. Lunch at the restaurant "Literary Cafe". Dostoevsky had a sweet tooth, so we will remember about cafes and restaurants where was the author and his heroes visited: Mr. Goliadkin, Arkady Dolgoruky. Also we will have dinner in one of them. Excursion to the Mikhailovsky (Engineering) Castle. At the age of sixteen, Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky came to St. Petersburg and began studying at the Nikolaev Engineering School. You will walk through the halls of the imperial castle of Paul I, he was acquainted with Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky. You will see the former bedroom of Emperor Paul I, where his murder was committed, and also learn the secrets and legends of the palace. Return to the hotel, dinner.
Day 3
THROUGH THE PAGES OF DOSTOEVSKY'S NOVELSWalking tour "Through the pages of Dostoevsky's novels". The novels of the great Russian writer of the 19th century Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky are read all over the world. We will walk with you in the footsteps of the heroes of the novel "Crime and Punishment". The novel was first published in 1866, and after more than 150 years, it is still popular. You will see the places where Dostoevsky's literary heroes lived and the main events of the novel "Crime and Punishment" happened: The house of the old woman-the interest-taker, the Yusupovsky Garden, the Sennaya Square, the aura of the past is still preserved here. You will find out where the Crystal Palace tavern, Bakaleev's house and Rodion Raskolnikov's house, Kokushkin Bridge and the building of the former Kazan police station were located. We will walk along Voznesensky Prospekt, where the writer's early stories were written. We will walk along Sadovaya Street, where Dostoevsky was in prison. On Gorokhovaya Street 41 we will see a prototype of the "Rogozhins' house "from the immortal novel "The Idiot". Along the way, you will see the same non-fancy, hidden Petersburg... Excursion to the F.M.Dostoevsky Literary-Memorial Museum. During the tour, you will learn about the main events in the writer's life, work on the latest novel "The Brothers Karamazov", the years spent in the apartment on Kuznechny Lane, as well as about the life of his wife Anna Grigoryevna and children - Lyuba and Fedya. Lunch at the Symposium Restaurant. After lunch we will go to the Peter and Paul Fortress, where Fyodor Mikhailovich was in a prison. Here is buried Emperor Nicholas I, who changed the court sentence from eight years of hard labor to four years for Dostoevsky. Return to the hotel, dinner.

THE END OF THE LITERARY WALKCheck-out, transfer to the airport / railway station.
